Draft — this page is being finalized before fit brains launches.
The short version
We collect what fit brains needs to train you and track your progress. No ads, no selling your data, no cross-app tracking. You can export or delete everything in Settings at any time.
What we collect
- Account: a user id, and your email and name if you save your account.
- Profile: your age range and, if you choose to give it, your gender; why you train, your daily goal, your reminder time and sound setting.
- Training: game results, levels and per-question responses, which power your scores, workouts and insights.
- Usage: which screens you open and events like starting a game, finishing a workout or viewing a plan, with your user id, an id for this installation, device model, OS and app version. We use it to improve the app. It never includes your email, name, age range or gender.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, your device's push token and an id for the device, so reminders reach it. Signing out removes them.
- Subscription status: which plan you have and when it renews. Apple or Google handle payment; we never see your card details.
Who processes it
- Google Firebase stores your account and training data.
- RevenueCat manages subscription status for purchases made through Apple or Google.
- PostHog receives the usage events above (product analytics).
- Expo delivers notifications to your device, through Apple and Google.
- Vercel runs our server functions, such as keeping your subscription status current and deleting your account.
- Apple and Google process payments under their own privacy policies.
Your choices
Settings lets you export all your data as a file, or delete your account and its data.
Delete your account
In the app, open My Brain, tap the gear for Settings, then Delete my account. A saved account can also be deleted on the web: sign in at fitbrains2-app.vercel.app and use the same button in Settings. Or email hello@getfitbrains.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
This deletes your profile, training history, devices, subscription record and sign-in. Usage events already sent to PostHog stay there, under a user id that no longer belongs to any account. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Children
fit brains isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
